Skyrail Up Train Down for Cruise Passengers
Travelling down to Cairns on the train gives you the option of finishing at Carins Central Station in Cairns CBD.
It can also be a more pleasant journey as the train engine doesn't need to work as hard coming down the hill.
- 09:45 Pick up from Cairns Cruise Liner Terminal Bus Stop
- 10:45 Departs from Skyrail Smith field Station, head to Skyrail Station
- 12:15 Arrive Kuranda, customer will have free time in Kuranda
- 15:30 Depart from Kuranda by taking Kuranda Scenic Rail (Train)
- 17:25 Pick up customer at Cairns Central station
- 17:40 Drop off customer back to the Cruise Liner Terminal

Loads of fun from collection! Recommend the train up & Skyway return. All transport transfers were between modes was seamless with ample help on hand. Kuranda was a lovely township to visit. Hint- the Portugese tart coffee shop did a great coffee with delicious tarts!
Had a hassle free outing, driver was very knowledgeable and friendly. It was a lovely day, train up to Kuranda and sky rail home. We were picked up exactly on time. I would highly recommend Travstar to anyone.
We didn't have much interaction with anyone from the company so can only say that the driver has been very friendly and helpful.
I think the value for money could be improved if we had longer in Kuranda, if you decide to visit one of the wildlife centres or do the boat tour you basically run put of time to do anything else.
I only wish we had more time to look around in Kuranda.
An enjoyable trip on the train and skyrail with fantastic scenery. I walked to the Barron Falls from Kuranda rather than spending time in the village.
It was a wonderful day. We only wish that we had some extra time to spend in Kuranda beyond the visit to Koala Gardens as it did deserve more time.
